Hello.
I've been doing a lot of research before buying my first road bike (I'm an active commuter cyclist). Have narrowed it down to the Specialized Allez Double and a Giant Defy 3. Which, he said boldly, is better?

I have a giant...although its not a defy and I love it.Level 3 Road & Time Trial Coach, Level 2 Track Coach.
