RSAM red shifters bits and bobs

My SRAM red shifters arrived for the custom build I'm working on.

In the box there are what look like cable housing ends with and without protruding tubes (protruding tube is 2mm wide or so) and a bunch of other tubey things.

There's also a couple of metal pins about 10mm long x 2mm diameter and four metal tubes. about 6mm wide and 12 mm long.

The diagram is terrible and in any case it doesn't describe how to install any of these bits and bobs.

Can anyone help?

Bits with protruding tubes are possibly 'ultra-long nosed ferrules' which go on gear cable ends. A concertina type gubbins (grub seal) goes on this.

    Weejie54, thanks!

    Great little diagram,

I'm going to post a photo of all the bits. have no idea where the metal pins go.

    I just did mine....

The larger metal tubes are for the end of the cable outers where they join the frame or shifters etc,
    .
The smaller silver metal tubes are to crimp on to the cable ends once cut.

If you have a gore set up - try here:
