I saw the frame on eBay and loved the metallic blue paint combined with the chrome forks. The rest of it was bought in dribs and drabs off eBay or scavenged off my Allez when I upgraded the groupset to SRAM Rival.

Frame: Reynolds 531c (don't know the make/builder)
Forks: Reynolds 531c
Groupset: Shimano 3300 (Tiagra rear mech)
Pedals: Shimano M520
Wheels: Shimano RS20
Tyres: Michelin Krylion Carbon
Seatpost: Ritchey
Saddle: Charge spoon (Ti rails)
Stem: Cinelli
Bars: 3TTT
Tape: Specialized
Bottle cage: Elite Ciussi Gel

I had toyed with the idea of buying a nicer groupset (old Shimano 600/7400 or bottom end Campy) but I had this one in a box so decided to keep the money in my pocket.

My other bike is a 2007 Spesh Allez with SRAM Rival, handbuilt wheels and FSA SLK Carbon cranks, which is obviously a lot lighter and stiffer than this one.

But it's the first steel bike I've ever ridden, and I love it! It feels springy, like it wants you to ride faster and faster, and it's much more comfortable than my other bike.

Thanks for all the comments, I quite like the look of it too!
