First rather unfortunate post, but some light fingered chav nicked my marin alpine trail last night and seemed to have gone to extensive lengths to get it - sawing through padlocks, bolt cutters etc. in my shed

I think this is 2004 or 2005 standard spec, 17.5 frame - bomber front forks, but in a more unusual metallic blue coloured frame to most alpine trails, and with an addition of a deore rear mech which isn't standard fit.

Any sightings welcome in the Manchester area.

Have you got a more detailed description?

When mine was stolen it was non standard spec after various upgrades, could you list the different parts, colours of grips and tyres etc?

I travel around the area for work so I could keep my eyes open.

    Cheers

    6061 T6 aluminum
    Rear Shock X-Fusion O2 Air
    Marzocchi bomber fork - black
    Alex Rims
*Replaced Deore LX rear mech + shifters
    17.5 Frame

It looks like this unusual colour for model - but not exactly same spec

Is that your bike as it was when it was robbed, or have you changed things?

Sorry to clarify that's an example pic which I've found not my exact bike
Looks same apart from rims, discs and rear mech, mine has black seat with scuffs to left hand side,
I can't be any more specific about anything else I'm afraid, help appreciated thanks

Are you keeping an eye on eBay, Gumtree etc?

Might be worth a tour of the local shops to see if anyone's tried shifting it as well.

Failing that it's round the car boots.
