Hi,
I am looking for a backpack/hydration pack that I can quickly clip on or store my helmet when required. Anyone got any ideas?
Cheers

I have this http://www.sportsdirect.com/karrimor-x- ... ack-716072
Big helmet pouch on it, I can fit in my bell faction easily.0 -
Osprey Raptor series has a neat little toggle at the top of the pack for locking on your helmet when you are not using it.

Looking to get one of these next myself.0 -
The Dakine Apex is the best hydration pack I have ever used. It can carry a full face or x-c helmet on the back and has straps for carrying your armour as well. It's got loads of internal pockets and has a 3L reservoir. The only downside: price. It retails for about £90.0

+1 Osprey. Just slip the toggle through a helmet vent and you're away.0

I hae a Dakine Nomad, it's brilliant, theres places to strap elbow/knee pads on the bottom, and another place for any kind of lid (even FF), 3ltr bladder, and enough pockets/compartments that I regularly lose my multi tool in there! You can get one for about £60ish if you look about

I have a Camelbak Hawg NV 3 Litre Hydration Pack.
It fits a standard XC helmet not sure would take a full face.
I do like the look of the Dakine though.0 -
+1 on the Dakine Nomad

+1 on the Camelbak Hawg NV.
Takes my standard lid and a ski helmet okay in the helmet pocket. Full face, might do, or otherwise could hook part of it into the pocket and use the straps to hold it in place.0 -
Thanks for the suggestions everyone I am after a smaller backpack so liking the look of the Osprey Raptor.
By the way I am selling my Vaude Hyper Air backpack if anyone is interested:

Good shout about the Camelpak Capo but the Consigliere would probably suit me better as I want something for short rides out.
