AMAZING phone
It only died when we dropped it in a pint during a drunken wedding reception, then forgot about it there whilst the speeches and toasts were being done
And besides, if you're hardly ever going to use the phone, what's the fekkin point spending 80 quid on one? (Unless you're a chav, of course, but then you'd just steal one)0 -
mmmmmm not according to the management at work... they just binned all the blackberrys for iPhones because they make more sense.
Anyways.. I doubt Jay needs either a blackberry or iPhone!0 -
if it was my money i would go for the Sony K770i, i had one before my HTC, got a great battery life and awesome camera

Get the same as my first phone....
Okay don't. It was terrible, but back then they actually considered the fact that you could swap out its battery for 9 AA batteries some kind of feature. I can't even imagine how large it is now.0 -

Sony Erricson phones work for about a month... both me and the GF got one (different models) and we both had problems with durability and longevity... hated it!0

I've got the C510; it's not a bad phone.
The cameras pretty good; which is why i got it; however, there's no point wasting money on a phone if you're not going to use it often. Who gives a crap what it looks like; a spare £50 quid may come in handy at some point, maybe not even for bikes; but if you constantly spend money just cos you have it and you can, you'll never have any. What We Achieve In Life, Echoes In Eternity0 -
Just get a ten quid phone.
I had a Samsung from Asda that cost a tenner untill recenty when I got my Tocco Lite (which is amazing, can't think why you don't like it).
I destroyed my old Sony Erricson almost immediatly on the bike but the old Samsung, well, I have crashed directly onto it, dropped it in many puddles/rivers, dropped it about 10 foot etc etc and all it had was some dust in the back of it when I opened it up to get the sim card out.
Obviously my Tocco Lite is fully insured, it will even get replaced if I smash it up with a hammer0 -

Ive got a video of me doing that to an HTC Magic somewhere except with a brick. Straight swap on Vodafone total business cover.0 -

why has no one suggested CEX? In my experience they are cheaper then eBay and you get a years warranty.
You can get some pretty decent Windows Mobile and Android phones for under £80 if you don't mind a few scratches and no manual0 -

Don't get the Samsung. My mate has that Ericson, pretty good phone. Decent camera, great music player, but a little bit flimsy.0 -

Windows phone 7 though (coming out later this year) looks absolutely gob smackingly awesome.
I have no idea what's happening at MS, but Office2007, Win7, server 2008, the new Exchange system, and now the new Windows Phone - holy cow, they're repeatedly pulling amazing things out of the bag these days.0 -

Just don't like the interface/programmes, plus it feels abit sh*t. Overpriced for what it is.0
