Chaingangs in South Lakes area

I'll be on holiday in the South Lakes the first week in July and will be hoping to take the bike with me.
Wondering if there were any local chaingangs on I could tag along at?

P.S. also looking for some 30-40 mile routes for early morning training near or around Grange-over-Sands.

The only group rides I know of are on Sunday mornings from Askews Cycles and Bruces Bike Shop in Kendal. I think they set off at 09 or 09.30 but if you call in at the shops they will confirm the time. Both are excellent shops.0
