It's for oversized bars as far as I'm aware, been looking into getting one myself as i need the short stack height!0

Gents, get onto the Halfords website and get yourself a Bikehut Xtreme stem for a tenner.
It's the Tioga Task Force stem rebranded as a Bikehut item. Hardly fashionable I know, but money talks.
I bought one because I wanted to try a 50mm stem without pushing the boat out.
It fits an 1 1/8 steerer and is for OVERSIZE bars.
