hi everyone
I could do with some advice. I've just fitted a E13 LS+1 chain guide and putting on was not a problem on my Santa Cruz jackal frame.
The problem I'm having is I've got 9 on the back with a SLX rear mech, and no matter what I do there is a slight amount of rub the side of the guide on the lowest and highest gear.
any advice would be appreciated
thanks mark

You will get rub in extremes of gear in any guide-Ive had one on for 2 years now and I still cant get rid of it, took it to the LBS and they said the same0

There is a way to stop this but it involves carefully trimming the guides.
Have a close look at the points you get the rub (inside and outside of top and bottom guides). I am presuming that this will be where the chain exits the guides.
Then you 'trim' these points carefully with a dremmel, file or something similar, about 1mm should do it, just enough to just open out the chain exit points.
Sorted
I've done this on a LG1+ and it worked for me. Nothing worse than the sound of chain rub!0
