185mm v 180mm rotors

Hi,
Im looking for a replacement rotor, but cant seam to find a lot of 185mm rotors, only the Avid G3. Can i use a 180mm will the 5mmm make a big difference?
Does any body know of any 185mm rotors?

What is the current rotor. If it is 185 then that is what you need unless you get a new adaptor0

the pad will overlap the edge of the rotor.
change the adaptor to a 180 one."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Change the adaptor or you will only be using half the pad surface, meaning you will lose loads of power and will have to change the pads if you find the right rotor later on.0
