Hi I bought a set of 6700 brakes new on eBay, The seller has sent me SL brakes instead though and are brand new, Is there any or a noticeable amount of performance difference between the two? I think I like the darker look of the SL's and he is giving me a refund if I keep them making them £40 or I could return them and pay the original £60.
What you think keep the SL's or get the 6700s'

I thought the 6700 had a different pull ratio to the older ones.0

•Must be used in conjunction with ST-7900 or ST-6700 STIs for correct leverage ratio
Got that from some website. I have the sl's and they're great. That said it maybe time for you to send them back and upgrade to Di2 8)winter beast: http://i497.photobucket.com/albums/rr34 ... uff016.jpg

correctFacts are meaningless, you can use facts to prove anything that's remotely true! - Homer0 -
Ah ok think I am better with the SLs' then I only have 105 levers, last years model whatever that was.0

Yes, then SL is better. So maybe you were lucky in the end.0

Thanks all, Kept the SLs' and got them for £35 in the end so am pleased, no performance difference from my 105s' but look a little nicer.0
