chain device compatability

want to fit a superstars chain device ( BB mount model ) in near future and would like to know if it ( and other brands of chain device ) can be fitted to both internal and external type BB 's or are they specifically designed just for external BB's
cheers all.

( BB on bike is shimano internal square taper but can be replaced )

    work with any bb just get the correct ones to suit the mounting you need to use for your frame.
