i own a 09 commencal supreme mini dh 2, and was wondering if you can replace the forks with a full downhill fork? if yes what else is needed for the fitting? hope you can help waffle
love rideing as it has taken over my life since i cant play rugby anymore currently own a boardman hardtail which i spend more cash on than my pick up!! am looking to get an all mountain or a freeride bike but am undecided as yet!

    What fork do you have at the minute?
  • the forks on it allready are marzocchi 55 with 160mm of travel i was wondering if you could put a bigger travel fork on without messing the bike up to much

    check what max travel the frame is warrentyed for. i wouldnt go over 180mm
    and tripple clamps may be a bad idea....

    The only people who know the idea are commencal, ask them.

    160 might be the max, you might be fine with a fox 40, but you need to ask!
    Why would I care about 150g of bike weight, I just ate 400g of cookies while reading this?
