Any recommendations for brake pads to fit Ultegra cartridges please? I've been using the standard Shimano pads to date - they are okay but was just wondering about any alternatives.

Swissstop green. Don't leave dust all over the bike or gubbins on the rim
and stop fast in both wet and dry. Well worth the £20 per set of 2 pairs.

Koolstop. Pink for your winter workhorse, black for the summer stallion!

  • I Use Koolstop Salmons all year round, tried swissstop greens and not as good as the koolstops. Far better than the Dura Ace pads I bought too.

Will Koolstop pads also fit Tiagra brakes?

I use the Koolstop Dura holders and pads on my Tiagra calipers, hugely better than the Tiagra ones and look great too.

+1 for Salmon's best upgrade for any OE brakeset or bike for that matter IMO. Saves your rims too......
