Any evening riders in the Maidenhead area ?

Hi everybody . I'm over in Cookham , looking to tag along on any local ( ish ) evening rides . There's a couple of us do a local loop on thursday nights 2 to 3 hours ( nothing too mental , pretty steady ) Alas sometimes work / family comitments sometimes conspire against us . I've seen a few groups out & about , who are you & can i come out and play ?

Not really doing long evening rides at present, just an hour or so at present after work, and other committments on Thursday, but me and couple of riders do a Sunday morning ride from Maidenhead (8.45ish start, 2+ to 3ish hours) and would be glad to see new riders. Also, recommend you check out Swinley forest, went there for first time last week and thoroughly recommend it. If your evening route goes anywhere near the Thicket in Maidenhead any other evening than Thursday, let me know as I'd like to give evening rides a go.0

I'm usualy good for 3hrs + in the saddle , not sure about your pace though . Worst case senario , i'm local enough to make my own way home if i can't hack it !

I would also like to do some group evening rides, went out on my own for a 24 mile maidenhead bridleway loop last night.
I have always intended to join padi's sunday morning rides but my usual riding buddies have been totally reliable this year and not droppped out yet, so we always go to swinley, surrey hills, afan etc.Banned from singletrack forum again :-)0 -

There's a couple of us out tomorrow ( thursday 29th ) night. It's a little later than our usual 7pm ish , it's 8:15pm on account of someone's work . Anyway we meet up at the Pound ( the Gravel car park where you see the ice cream van ) in Cookham on the little bridge on the raised path.
Usually head of up to Winterhill , down to Thicket , Knowl Hill , Hurley ..... you get the idea ....... nothing too mad.

I'll be out Sunday, 8.45 start, from Tittle Row Stores (SL6 4QB) - probably not an epic ride. Gordon, longstanding rider and regular ride leader will be back out the following Sunday, so probably do a longer ride then. See you Sunday if you can make it.0

Hi Stan,
I've ridden with Padi a couple times but other events/obstructions mean I have managed to catch up with him for a few weeks. I am up for an evening ride, so will check back here next week to see if I can make your start time. Distance & time not a problem, just start time as I work in London and drive. Usaully home for 7pm so could meet up locally 7:30/7:45pm.

I'll be along for the first 90 mins that night , as i'm on some silly shifts , any later 'll be past my bedtime !

Likewise , my work's gone mental this week , i've just got home , so missed this evenings ride.
Anyway , your welcome any time , just check here first as sometimes the time will change slightly , or we'll go to Swinley or somewhere.
