Been running for years. Great route & excellent home baking en route.
You can book a ticket for you and bike back to Edinburgh, later in day or next morning I think.

    Hi folks

    I did this last year as my first long ride and can heartily recommend it. Won't be doing it this year as I'm doing a London to Paris on that day. Great day though - very family friendly, people of absolutely all abilities and a perfect ride for someone who doesn't want the intimidation of a full sportive.

    And if you register before 1 June it's free... doesn't get much better than that!

    Yes, this is a good ride, thoroughly recommend it. The last 8 miles or so used to be my daily commute (mostly downhill with inspiring views of St Andrews Bay).

    that said, I'll not be there this year, as I am riding the Trossachs Ton next day.
