Can you re-use a Joes No Flats rim strip?

I have a wheelset with a Joes tubeless conversion kit. The kit works fine, no problems what so ever but I would like to change my tyres now the ground has dried out (hopefully it will stay dry).
When I went to take the tyre off it was sealed pretty well to the rim strip and I wasn't sure if I would damage the strip / tyre if I tried to rip the two apart.
Anyone done this and know if its fine? The rim strip and tyre are both made of pretty tough rubber but thought I'd ask first just in case... ?
