URGENT ATTENTION Ritchey Recall!!

I bought a Ritchey WCS compact chainset a couple of years agao and fitted it ealry last year.
I entered Ritchey WCS reviews in to google and got the usual forum reviews.
On Sunday I got out of the saddle doing about 35mph on a descent and the left crank arm snapped in 2. I crashed instantly and have suffered some very bad injuries.
Yesterday my pal entered in to google Ritchey WCS crank failure and up popped a product recall citing 'left crank arm failure'.
PLEASE check that you are not running these cranks. I have had a very luck escape (although it doesn't feel like it at the moment!!)
And I wonder how many other people are using these with no idea of the danger??
