    Verrrry nice, i recently picked up a s/h '07 Etape in the silver/yellow colours for a commuter - not the most exotic I know, but I love the general look of the Lemonds & now considering how far it's reasonably acceptable to upgrade it before the frame & forks become the weak link!

    I think you should role your bars up a little, at least until the hoods are horizontal, so you have a better perch for your hands. :wink:

    The forks coluld become one, they're just heavy. You won't outdo the frame for a while.

    I certainly won't! The LARGE Triomphe was reckoned to be 950g in 2007. Mine is a medium. And, given what it weighed when there was no groupset on there, I can well believe htat.
