I have a rush 1000 frame that i do like alot . i sold the lefty as the riding i do was a bit to much for it. i was thinking of a new build making it in to a normal fork set up so i can run a beefer fork like a totem. i understand that increasing the fork length is going to play havoc on geometry. i wanting more of an xc / freeride setup .
2 questions
1- can use a standard steerer fork on my si headset or do i need to change it
2- what would be the max length travel i could run on this frame . the lefty was the dlr 110mm.

cheers dave

yes you can run a 1 1/8th inch steerered fork on your frame if you get the suitable reducers and a suitable headset.

I would keep to about the same travel maybe 120mm max.
