Shimano Shifters

Hello Guys,
Hoping someone can point me in the right direction, I want to remove the indicators from my shifters so they can tuck under my brakes a little better giving more room.
What can I use to fill the hole left, will a frame patch do the job or can you buy a cap that fits them?
Iv had a look around and cannot seem to see anything
Cheers

Mmm the LX sl- M570one just had some bungs to fill the holes.
the other versions did not mention this. but some tape to cover would do.
the XT, lets take the SL-M770 should have covers included and again is just the two bolts.
the m750 is like the m570 lx one.

and new XT cover.
