You walk into a shop that sells mountain bikes and ask "excuse me kind sir, do you have any jobs going?"

You could get yourself all lycra'd up and stand in your local riding spots car park with a sign advertising your services??

Sorry for the blunt response but...
1. You have to find the job not it find you
2. skills and requirements are totally different for the type of job you want - eg. different for a bike journalist job as opposed to a bike mechanic job0 -
