Hi,dont know if anyone has mentioned it before, but has anyone noticed how weak the paint seems to be on the boardman mtb,i have a comp model and as i was cleaning it i noticed a few chips of paint missing which has exposed the aluminium underneath, does anyone know if you can get touch up paint for bikes or should i just buy a normal black touch up paint to cover these chips up,or should i just leave it what harm could come of.

Most 'painted' frames (i.e., not anodized) have weaker finishes, the paint around the dropouts flaked on the Marin as soon as I put the rear wheel in, so protect any areas prone to wear,

Use a humbrol enamel paint (the small tinlets) in the nearest colour, or go to an auto store and get some touch up paint....
