Hi,

I would like to see highlights of the races in the evening as I am too busy at work to watch it live

Trouble is, all I have is freeview and no internet connection.
I do have an iphone but the screen is too small really.
I could pay for the tethering to get internet connnection but then it is £10/month for the tethering and £4/month for Eurosport.

What is my best viewing option?

Thanks.

no internet? this aint the stone ages yano.. Without the Internet or decent TV your pretty much screwed..

If you get the web sorted you will have loads of sources to watch the race / highlights..

Http://www.steephill.tv has some links or you can wait till the evening when http://cyclingtorrents.nl have some for download

Trouble is that during the week I work away from home.
Chances of getting a hotel/pub to put on cycling are pretty slim

Okay. It looks like I need some kind of mobile internet connection.

These typically come with set limits; 1Gb/month, 3Gb, 9Gb..........

Does anyone know how much usage I will need for occasional browsing but more importantly, streaming Eurosport?

Assuming your freeview box has a slot for a card, you could take out a TopupTV subscription for Eurosport:

    Have you considered a slingbox;

    http://www.slingbox.com/

It allows you to access programmes you've recorded at home and play them back anywhere where you can get an internet connection.

Can you get Eurosport on topuptv? Just had a quick look and there was ESPN but couldn't see Eurosport.....

I had the same problem, and they no longer use the card slot. You have to buy a digi-recorder. Oh, and it's not live, and it's only limited shows....

    Iphone app is still favourite.

Thanks for the help though :)
