    Plus Perez, of course.
Will the very steep climb of 1km be enough to dump the sprinters out the back, I wonder?

    What's the time gap?

I read the preview of the stage on the Romandie website. It said something like the small climb was worthy of Flanders and only the strongest riders would get over, they'd lose all their team mates in the climb-carnage.

Are they setting up a sprint for a hill prime?

I think they were a bit... ambitious.

That's a winning gesture that won't win him any more friends.
    What is Cav's problem?

It'll make for a nice photo to hang up at the HTC and Columbia corporate headquarters won't it? What a child.

Give the guy a break, heart on sleeve, says and does what he thinks, not what a PR man tells him. And don't forget he's only a nipper really - think what you were like in your early 20s...

What did he do? If he flicked the v's no-one outside the UK is even going to recognise it and he can pass it off as a Churchil-esque v for victory

Yes, remember yesterday when Sagan acted like a coq.

    Oh, wait, he didn't.

    Love it.

Not keen on the guy, but I'm keen on riders spitting out what they actually think.

I miss all the finish line interviews from 10 years ago, especially with riders who hadn't won. Having barely crossed the finish, still hawking up flem and snorting out snot as they are interviewed. You really heard what riders thought!

    Oh, Cav.

At least he brings entertainment and he's not some sponsor-pleasing drone. And clean. I hope. I much prefer a Cav to a druggie like Valverde or an invisible minion like Leipheimer.

Seriously though, I'd love to know what Bob Stapleton thinks of that.

Doubt he'd be overjoyed (sponsors n all)
