Are we having a spoiler thread for the Tour of the Gila? The main cycling event of the month. For riders over 35. And Tommy D.

It doesn't even have a real UCI rating, so may as well be a different sport
Fckin' Quintana … that creep can roll, man.

But is it better than going round in circles on a wooden oval?

Where is Gila? Why isn't Armstrong wearing team colours. Do they have sea otters there?

    Does anyone care?

I gather it's near somewhere called Silver City, which to my mind conjures up images of munchkins and flying monkeys.

I think about Gila and this is what I picture.

Rather than some all catagory bike race.
One is a monster, the other a minnow.

    Nice day in Romandie, again.

Uphill sprint for the finish today by the look of it. Not too steep, but might put Cav in trouble? We'll see.

None of the steephill.tv, cyclingfans.com links work for me. Any alternatives?

Pinotti left on his own. Not sure that Cavendish isn't a liabilty at the moment.
    Still climbing like MSR.

The three leaders still have over 4 minutes on the peleton?

That must be the SportItalia feed.

Radio Shack driving a bus full of BMC and Astana riders......
    ....back at almost 3 minutes!

OK. Peleton at 1'24 back with 30KM to go.

    Cavendish over four minutes back.

Saving himself for tomoro no doubt.

It's going to come together for the finish. We'll see if anyone jumps away once it does.

20KM to go, 30 second lead still.

Sagan carries on, where he left off in P-N.

Hmm, that Footon rider was unlucky. Finishes 5th despite being shoulder charged outta the way by Gavazzi's lead out man.

Is your bookie watching the same feed? Might be an opportunity here!
