I'm not sure if this is just me but I seem to get contaminated brake pads extremely quickly and I have no idea why. Any one else have this problem and what can I do?
Thanks

what do you do before they are contaminated?

how do you wash the bike? with what?

how do you dry the bike? with what?

how do you lube the bike? with what?

i just bike normally (this happens even in dry conditions.)

just wash the bike with fresh water. (hose wash)

    sun/ drip/ towel dry.

and lube with some wax lube stuff.

Are you sure they are contaminated? Doesn't sound like you're doing anything to contaminate them!

You don't use any aerosol's around the bike? For anything?

Yeah, doesn't sound like they're contamimated to me, not unless you're getting oil or something on them, unless maybe your caliper is leaky and getting dot oil on your pads? Also maybe if you got oil on the rotor once, changed the pads out but didn't clean the rotor, that could do it. Get some disc brake cleaner fluid.
