Front derailluer size

I'm pretty sure I need a top swing type derailluer for my frame but I'm confused about sizing. How/what part of the seat tube do you measure the seat tube to determine what size you need? Cheers :wink:

    Just read somehwere else that most derailluers come as one size with shims so I guess that answers my questions.

    see what size the old one was. see what the seat post clamp size is if the seat tube is the same all along.

    Or make model and year...

    Doh! Why didn't I think of that?! Seat clamp is 32mm. Seat tube is same all along, thus 32mm front derailluer clamp :wink: Cheers, Nick.
