Ja this Amstel is particularly shut at the moment.

    Nothing happening.

    Much like last year.

Looks like Horner had the longest drive of 1800kms (although Vaitkus did most of the driving).

Looks like Andy has some choice words to say about Valverde and is keen on the win. He should really keep his mouth shut regarding Valverde and not take example from his brother's recent embarassing error on twitter.
“The key points are the final three climbs and for Fränk and me we can’t wait for the sprint. We have to try something before. We’ll see how the legs are but I feel good. If I don’t crash I’ll be up at the front and if everything goes as planned I’ll be there.

“Valverde was defiantly a favourite for this race. If it was me I would have driven. I would have taken the car. Katusha are a big threat and Rabobank are the biggest threats for today.”

Ivanov's travel story, just explained on Sporza, sounded just as impressive - arriving from Tenerife, via Madrid, Milan, Zurich and a drive from there, arriving saturday morning 5am in bed, with the doorbell ringing at 8 am - doping control. ufff

I am pretty disappointed not to see him riding but nowhere near as much if it had been Liege.

I want Cadel to win. Though I don't think he even intends to try as he said he wasn't targeting it.

Cunego, Gilbert Pinotti or Chavanel I'd also be happy with.

This race is frickin' nuts. Riders should get danger money for racing in the Netherlands.
