I've just ordered some Ultegra 6700 sti's and mech for my winter bike but was wondering if anyone has used them with canti brakes?
I know they pull slightly differently than Shimano of old

Excellent as I have the 720s
Did you have older style levers before?
Just wondering if they work better or worse?
    Thanks for the feedback

I had 07 Ultegra on before and they feel the same to me. I've never had a problem with cantis, I'm old enough to remember them being the best brakes money could buy so setting them up is to work is no problem .

The new Ultegra with koolstops on the tektros will easily stop as good as a caliper. You'll have no trouble at all with them. I think they pull a little bit more cable than the old styles but I doubt you'd notice. They feel nice and comfy to hold and the levers are a nicer design and feel.

I'll just add that I think fitting new cables is not as easy as the old style but I suppose we'll get used to it until they alter it again!
