I would be a little wary of £1500 on ebay - depends on much cheaper I suppose.

Something from Enigma. Their steel models in particular are great, and great looking, bikes.

Have you looked at the Sportive / Gran Fondo bikes on the Ribble website?

Have a play with the bikebuilder section - For £1500 you can get a Deda carbon frame, with Ultegra groupset and wheels, plus a decent Deda finishing kit and Vittoria tyres.

Cannondale Synapse. Awesome for buttery smooth all day rides.

    We all like those yeah?
  • Evans have some 2009 bianchi 928 mono q's for around the £1500 depending on whether you want campy or shimano you'll have a choice of both. I bought it and its a great bike which has sort of snuck under the radar. The original rrp is a good 400- 700 more depending on which groupset you choose.
Bianchi. There are no alternatives only compromises!
I RIDE A KONA CADABRA -would you like to come and have a play with my magic link?
