Did the LVRC Fleche Waltonne race - first race for a few years and first ever LVRC. Bit nervous before hand but really enjoyed it - managed to get in the winning break - unfortunately also managed to get dropped from the winning break fairly early on ! Did get in another break later on and despite us getting caught by another three who came across we stayed away from the bunch for places 6-10 - I had nothing left for the uphill finish and came in 9th - good fun but it doesn't half make your legs hurt !

it's a hard life if you don't weaken.

Nice one, well done Tom. I plan on doing a few LVRC crit races from June onwards. Its definitly safer than your average 3/4 race. Most of the 40+ brigade have done a fiar bit of racing and it certainly shows. I always feel pretty safe 8)
