hi everyone
has anyone got any experiance of the merlin malt 1 and malt 2?
Im trying to decide which to get and if its worth spending the extra money on the malt 2 over the malt 1?

I've had a Rock Lobster and tested both. Personally I think the Malt 1 and Malt 4 represent the best value in the range. There doensn't seem much difference between 1 and 2 to me....so 1.'Happiness serves hardly any other purpose than to make unhappiness possible' Marcel Proust.0

The 2 frame is lighter, and uses more butting.0

I bought a Malt 1 and upgraded to full XT and xc717 rims, my long term idea was that I'd upgrade the frame at some time and keep the nice components. It's been a great bike and I'd buy one again, the value for money is exceptional. Out of the box they're sorted too, whack some pedals on and hit the trails.0
