Sounds like a nice route. Do you have to rase a minimum amount of sponsership or is it just 10 pounds to enter?
And why oh why do all cycle events happen on the same day! The Thetford winter series starts that day. :?

How will the minimum sponsorship thing work? I will hopefully raise more than that, but is it just a target?

Quite looking forward to it now!

All done, registered and ready to go. Is the 36 mile route circular or an A to B thing? Cant find any info on it.

If they are running the same route as 2 years ago you ride out the back of Sherwood Pines and pick up national cycle route 6 to Clumber Park, ride a loop around the perimeter of Clumber then pick up route 6 back to Sherwood.

I'm doing it, if you see a knackered bloke wearing number 5, give us a wave but don't be offended if I'm too out of breath to chat!!!!!

    EVENT CANCELLED!!!!!! WTF?????

Hundreds of people had seen the weather and still decided to travel, so you have to assume that they were willing to ride and get wet but noooooooooooooooo, BHF had to cancel it. This weather has been forecast since Tuesday so why wait till the morning of the event to call it off instead of doing it yesterday and saving everyone the unnecessary journey?

    Annoyed.

yeah, I got that email as well, I've informed JustGiving that the event didn't take place so no money should have been taken and I'm waiting for a response.

Where did you get the new date info from? I wonder what they'll do when it's raining in February!!!!!
