Looking for some good cycle routes in Northern France for road bikes.Preferably a mapped out route. Cheers

Have a look at this page. Have spent the last two nights surfing through it.
Dont quite know what type of "road" you want as these dont seem strenuous, but you could easily add days together.
Read the description of each route and then there is a link to the actual mapped route

We went riding throughout the Cotentin peninsular last year on a tandem - it was bloody great. Roads were empty ish and lots of respect from the few cars we did see. There is some sort of cycle route all the way - but tbh in September, there was nothing on the road and you could do it all there. Beautiful it was.http://www.georgesfoundation.org

The semaine fédérale of the FFCT went to Saint Omer last year in the Pas de Calais. The website is

Getting to Boulogne or Calais is easy and the routes are excellent. Some parts of the area are lumpy some quite flat. It is a mistake to think that because the area is near to England it is boring or indeed anything like England.0 -

Here are a few routes from a short trip around Epernay and Troyes.

Once out of the towns they were on quiet roads with excellent road surfaces compared to my usual rides around the North Downs.
Troyes was a much nicer town that Epernay, but a tour and tasting at the caves at one of the Champagne houses in Epernay was quite interesting (I went to Piper-Heidsieck)0 -
And don't forget Normandy, it's brilliant. Quiet roads, climbs (especially in the Suisse Normande around Clecy) stuff to look at (Normany Beaches, Honfleur, Deauville etc) and great hotels if you need feeding.0
