Zipvit Recommendations?

I've been reading about recovery drinks/bars and a lot of people seem to like Zipvit.

Can anyone tell me what they use from Zipfit, I had a look online but was a bit overwhelmed by the choice of different products!

Basically I'm looking at something to pick me back up after a ride that will do me some good and something to take out on all day rides to give me a boost.

Thanks in advance, J
I love the sound my tyres make on dusty single track!

I use, and really like the ZV3 (vanilla) for post recovery, however the 1.4kg tub is now nearly £30, it used to be BOGOF so decent value. I won't be buying at that price. It's good stuff though.

  • I tend to use SIS during and post rides.

Zipvit are ok but I just wonder with so much choice how it is all absolute product?

  • I would reccomend using torq products as they are natural and better for the body. The strawberry and cream recovery shake gives you a good boost after a hard ride and various different flavours of energy powder whilst out on your rides. Worth a look!

High recommend the ZipVit ZV8 Uncoated Chocolate Energy bars, taste great and really keeps you going on the longer rides. Cliff bars are pretty great too.

That goes for their caffeine energy gel thing too - rotten.

    Bars for the win.

I think the ZipVit energy drinks taste like bleach.

Although their chocolate orange protein bars are very tasty.

Some of the Zipvit products are quite good. However, I haven't yet gotten a timely and decent answer to the few technical queries I've asked about their nutritional products. I mean just saying 'oh well LA uses them' doesn't really answer the original question does it?

Compare this with the American site Hammernutrition - they have answered quickly and you definitely get the feeling the person on the other end actually *knows* the products rather than blindy sells.
