Custom made kit

I am looking for some recommendations for getting some custom jersey's and gilets made for a charity bike ride. I have got a main sponser that is picking up most of the costs but they would prefer to use a uk company. I am initially looking for 20-30 jerseys and 10-15 gilets and as usual would like them as cheep as possible and the best quality. I have tried the usual companies from a google search and was wondering if anyone had any other recommendations (Endura is top of the list at the moment)

Thanks

Easily the best made kit we've had in our club, but not sure how it squares with being British made.

Impsport are OK, but I've found their kit is not quite as comfy, long-lasting or the sizing is a bit odd.

Cheers Bronzie, i had asked giordana for a quote as they do look very good quality, unfortunatly their minimum order is 30 jerseys and 30 gilets which is beyond our budget, they did offer to do 30 jersey's on there own as we are doing it for charity which was goo dof them but we would still have to source the gilets from elsewhere. Impsport looks ok but I may have concerns as we need them for a few events over the next 2 years. I will give them a call a see if can get any samples.

    Thanks

  • We used Kalas Sportswear for our kit. Good quality kit, very good.
Just a fat bloke on a bike
  • Our club's about to go with Endura. I've always been impressed with the qualkity of their regular kit and the samples for the bespoke stuff seems just as good. I have an Impsport jersey from a charity ride but I'd describe it as mediocre but reasonable value.

I'm not sure if they have a UK office, but Champion Systems have been very good.

    Just checked,
They are in the UK. I've used the HK office - great quality designs and helpful service. They also sponsored me with jerseys for an event.

Wow, looks great. Still feel a bit wounded after the Endura saga on a previous tread. Looks like Champ may be able to restore my faith in custom kit. Thanks for the link.

We used www.owayo.com Excellent service, nothing was too much trouble....design templates went back and forward until everything was spot-on.

Their design configurator gives you plenty of choice. :D

I have dropped you a PM, very nice kit, I remember the review in Cycling Weekly and thought it looked nice. You can never have too much kit or bikes.

Sorry, am I missing here. If it's a charity ride then I assume the object is to raise as much money as possible for the cause. If that's so then why spend so much on special kit? I think 'as cheap as possible' and 'best quality' from any supplier are mutually exclusive.

If it's one event then why not get correct sized T-shirts printed and divert the money you would have spent on posh kit to the charity?? Other charity rides seem able to do this.

Fair point MrHulot, but I am rather disappointed by the disposable t-shirts that get offered at these events for £10+. Especially when one looks into how they are typically sourced.

The teams that we at Shutt support tend to ride multiple events so spending £50 on a bespoke merino sportwool jersey is well worth the outlay... and a great souvenir that lasts seasons of use. http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=4 ... 3839068071

I wonder how many of the cotton t-shirts end up in landfill or washing cars after one ride.
