Cwmcarn Twrch Trail - 31/01/2010

Im off to Cwmcarn this weekend (the 31/1/2010) first time riding it, and im off up with a few people from www.settingascene.com

Just wondered if anyone from here fancied meeting up there? will be getting there for about 9 ish, and riding at 9.30.

Look out for the Blue Pitch with the "Skinny lad" riding it. haha.

    i might well be there and that's about the time i'd normally go :D

    look out for a blue golf with a white felt compulsion on the roof - not going around the trail obviously, that'd be dangerous! :lol:

    hehe.

    Likewise... we will be in a Silver Civic with large wheels.. that are sadly standard and horrid.

    Also taking a White Van and maybe a Red Passat (if everyone who says they will, does turn up haha.)

    i was there at 9 and waited 20 minutes before i got too cold and decided to ride
    i may have seen you Joec1, i overtook someone on a blue Pitch going up a climb on my 2nd lap, would have been around 11:15, have you got a white helmet by any chance?

    lol, no not me.... (its the 30th today- were riding it tomo haha)

    glad you got out and rode though :) looked like a good day for it. i was setting up my new Hope Hoops and giving the bike a good clean (is half the weight now haha)

    LMAO Doh, wish i could delete my previous post so i look less retarded, i was going to go anyway, did the 2nd lap with my mates so i still had fun.

    cant believe i got date wrong haha. i should have noticed from my 1st post that has the date at the top
    ile prob be riding DH tomorrow, not doing XC for the 3rd day running (rode Blaenavon Blorenge yesterday)
    p.s its freezing up there at 9, the 2nd lap was so much warmer and not just because i was warmed up.
    its better at 9 because the ground was frozen solid and was running super fast.
    have a good ride man, ile see ya there another time.

    joec - sorry i wasn't there mate, i had to take my little boy to hospital on saturday morning and they kept him in over night. definately next time :D

    no worries guys.

    had a good old ride and loved the freeride (first time to cwmcarn and first time out on my specialized pitch)

    all in all a great day... and it didnt rain :D
