Are there any other components you could looks at to save weight. Usually bars n stem are the most expensive ways of losing weight.
What is your whole bike spec?
3 things i do not care about weight on and prefer solidity are
1. Bars. (Use Sunline or Easton Carbon - yep they are light ones but i bought them for strength)
2. Stem
3. Pedals.
They all weigh what they weigh really.
What about your wheels and other bits?0 -
I've got the EA50 risers on mine and they are a good bar, much better than the original fitment, loads of strength, lighter and soaks up some of vibrations too so comfy as well.0

i know nothing about handle bars."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

this is my bike http://www.decathlon.co.uk/EN/rockrider-8-2-69567857/
im also buying a new set because i hate the oversize bars my bike currently has so figred might as well get a nice set whilst at it0 -
Is a good, even spec. Saving weight in any area will cost.
Tyres should always be upgraded first as they are often heavy as specced.
If you change an versized bar, you need to change the stem too.0 -
This offer can't be beaten in my opinion, bought two sets recently (a set for the spares cupboard)

I dunno, plenty of lighter and cheaper combos about!0

If he was after eastons that is..... I use them on all my bikes as they are reasonably light but also strong as hell. My favourite bar (bar none)0
-
I sold mine for Exotic stuff lol (both EA70 stem and bar!). 70 quid is not a bad price for them though0
-
i not going to upgrade the tyres quite yet cause i love the ones i got on and i want to try out any new ones i would get allready got a spare 25.4 stem simular to this http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... elID=221430
