Brake woes...

Just had my brakes bled, put the bike in the car, took the wheels out, put them back in and it was fine, took them out tonight and when I went to replace the rear wheel the pads were too close together and I couldn't get the disk to go in, have I done something stupid? can't find anyway of adjusting the pads but it may be they have been masked by my pure rage as the final straw of a cack week! The brakes are shimano lx. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated it's driving me nuts!

the brake lever has been pressed whilst the wheel was out
find something like a clean butter knife that you can get in between the pads & gently prise them apart so as not to damage the pad material
Next time you transport the bike in the car put something like a brake pad spacer in between the pads to stop it happening again0 -
Ah, thank you sir, the week I've had I was just about to throw it through the conservatory!0

tried the knife, still not having it. Do I need to get it rebled?0

You can also take the pads out and use a plastic tyre lever to push the pistons back.0

Got it! The wheel is in there, it is rubbing a bit though, I take it it's just a case of pushing it back even further? Thanks guys 8)0
