Further to previous topic of which bike to get, I have opted for the La Pierre Zesty 714 - thanks for the info/comments - realised it was a trail bike I needed really, not a XC.
I would like to know if my 2010 Mavic crossmax ST's with quick release, will be compatible with the 15mm thro axle that comes as standard on fox forks with Zesty.
If so, do I need to get anything altered, or will I just need to undo skewer completely, and feed through.

Remove the rubber insert at each the side of the hub. The wheel can then fit a 15QR thru axle. This isn't a bodge BTW - Mavic Crossmax ST and SLR wheels 09 onwards are made to accept both 9mm and 15mm.Yeti 575 carbon
