It's worth keeping an eye on the forums. A few of the guys have been making trips to http://www.chicksandsbikepark.co.uk/ outside the normal club rides.
They are good guys and I'm sure they wouldn't mind you tagging along unless you are really good and make them look bad
. We are encouraging them to post when they are planning trips. I'm planning to go with them as soon as I get a chance.

Harlstone firs has some good trails once you discover them, we can spend several hours belting round, its more trail than freeride though
Plenty of people riding in there most weekends0
