Inserting pictures into posts??

Can someone assist me and let me know is there any way of inserting JPEGs into posts other than inserting a link to a hosting website? If so please can you let me know.

    with all respect due to you guys, that is so extremely unhelpfull! i for one, have a few good pics i would love to share with you guys and other members, but i am not very savvy at computers! could u put it in IDIOT FORM please! I also wish to submit a couple of pics for MBUK MAGAZINE, THATS GOTTA HURT, COMP. please assist me and others!
