French/italian cycling holidays

Hi all

I am looking at doing a week long cycling holiday in France or Italy - I want to use it for training for a forthcoming sportive I am doing in the UK.

I have found the compnay below whose Sport Cycling Holidays seem to fit the bill - especially the Cote d'Azur tour!

I am not super fit but am a regular cyclist and don't want to get blown away by super fast chain gang rides!

Does anyone have any recommendations for other companies that do similar sort of holidays? Any recommendations greatfully received

    Looks like a good tour but seems very expensive at £1195
    A group of us are doing a 7 day trip in France & Spain in June with Velo Peloton for £700.

    If you are going in May you should consider Italy so you could see a stage or 2 of the Giro.

    The biggest tour operator is sports tours international, I have been on a few of their holidays, but the experience is not great.
