Done Whites today, although still very rideable, it was quite muddy in places with lots of running water on the track. Made the climb hard work and as for the down bits, well you still had to work there too. Still a good ride though :)

With more rain forecasted and a 10am start think I'll give it a miss this time and stay in bed after my night shift.

    Have a good one

im gonna give it a miss due to weather forecast, port talbot has rain forecast with a couple sunny intervals, however in the hills these intervals will be few and far between, friday looks a lot better tho. toaday was OK i had quite a nice ride

sorry, will have to rearrange for a nicer day-perhaps Keith(christK) will be kind enough to let us follow him down the mast trail some time

    Did anyone go ?

Looking for info on trail conditions as we're there this w/e
  • i have not long got back from afan, and it is very boggy and very slippery,
very hard to ride up as the rocks are slippery.

it was really very cold and was raining a fair bit,

i would keep an eye on the weather for the weekend, if it does not seem to change then tbh i wouldnt bother for this weekend.

i dont mind the wet or the mud, so long as its not raining and i can see out of my glasses (they fog up in the rain, not too bad if its just wet)
ile probably ride cwmcarn XC friday as it drains better, then DH on the wkend
