I'm so thrilled this team will go racing on Colnago frames this year! Colnago, back where it belongs on the world stage of racing!

I love the Colnago crap too, £3k for a lugged frame. Bargain.

They're obviously wasting their money - don't you know the only way to succeed in the sport these days is to out Twitter the competition?

No need to go down this X is better than Y b****x

Lets just say Colnago produce some nice bikes and Campag make some lovely bike components and if someone gave me a Colnago equipped with Campag I'd be v.happy (I had one and I was)

Absolutely agree. I mean, what kind of idiot thinks a forum is the place to debate things, how dare people come to this site and pass opinion. End it now I say.

I agree with everything and everyone. You're all beautiful people.

Stop this niceness RIGHT NOW. All of you.

I don't relax of an evening by logging on to read posts by people agreeing pleasantly with each other.

No chance of improving. Those big ugly lugs on that poorly design Italian heap of junk will make them run even wider in the bends :)

I would say they were a shoe-in for a wildcard.

They don't need either - They're one of the teams who will get a spot.

Whilst I'm thrilled Colnago will be backing a team in 2010 - it just leaves me a little sad that this team does not hold a pro tour licence for 2010 http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/fedr...rotour-licence
So, their only hope for a place in the 2010 TDF will be a wild card. Hopefully being French, this could work in their favour. However, how has this happend......was this the only team without sponsorship Colnago could back?? It does make my blood boil! However, Team Sky (Pro tour licence holder) strole in with Sponsership from Pinarello. Now, was this just Colnago being a little slow off the mark.....who knows ??????

Nicensleazy - Colnago said he was not going to basically sell out to the highest bidder -so i presume thats why he`s only backing the likes of B-Box ...shame really cos Colnago wins hands down when its up against American-Taiwanese Junk like Trek & Specialized

He is obviously making enough cash from his frames and bikes without the need to throw huge wads of dough at the top teams in the peleton...yes I believe Snr Colnago has a personal choice but there must be a business model floating around Cambiago that says they do not have to bother with supplying top TdF Teams bikes to keep the dosh rolling in.

I agree though it is a shame that there are not more teams in the peleton on a 'nago

As Iain already said, they don't need a wildcard - they already have an automatic invite due to the deal that the UCI reached with the ASO last year (or year before).
