I'm off to Sherwood Pines Forest tomorrow morning, anyone who wishes to join me you are more than welcome to come. Setting off from Barnsley, South Yorkshire. Time wise not sure takes me about 1hr to get there. It'll make a change riding with some other than riding on my own.

They have a local group that has been riding Sherwood Pines I believe and is keen for new guys to join them on regular rides in and around that area.

    Very friendly bunch too

I went on Saturday with a mate and did a lap - I've only been once before when it was dry, but at the minute the trail is basically mud mixed with lots of sand...I could hear the drivechain on my bike eroding with every pedal stroke. Its not a bad place when its dry - good for beginners, quite a flat fast route, but not technical enough for my liking.
