Zesty 714 - how strong?

The Dirty Downhiller
edited December 2009 in MTB buying advice
Just after a bit of feedback before i finally spend a fair amount of dollar.

Was really interested in a Five SE and then saw the Zesty 714 and really do like it, but i am not to sure about a full carbon bike for UK trail centres and Alpine riding.

How much can it take, compared to say the Five.

Thanks

Could you share? Whereabouts on the frame?

    I bought a 714 a couple of months ago...

Only one I've seen was a cracked BB shell, though that wasn't in a carbon frame.

I would imagine the Zesty was pretty much designed for some Alpine riding, it will have no problems at all at UK trail centres.

seen 2 (one on here) at bb and one head tube came away from top tube at weld, all on ally frames.
