Electronic transfer from your bank account to theirs.

    Two options:

BACS transfer - you will need his banking details and then phone / visit your bank who will transfer the money. This should be free if it's in pounds.

Pay the money into his account by visiting any branch of his bank. You should only need the account number.

The only drawback to these is that you have no protection if the item you have bought is faulty, etc. With Paypal you have some coverage for this. If the seller is refusing to use Paypal, I would ask why.
  • thanks your replies I will probaly go into a branch from his bank and do it that way because I trust the seller anyway
