Post-accident-and-surgery recovery and training

Hi all, I had an accident in mid-December that led me to have a 4-hour op to pin my cheekbones and eye orbit together. A nice bicoronal flap needed and all - well done the NHS and Maxillofacial dept at New Cross in Wolverhampton, terrific work.

I get my 45-or-so stitches out tomorrow - I hope - and of course have managed to get down to 10st2lb in the process (I'm only 5ft9). Now, what's the path from here on? I can't do real cycling for a few weeks in case of more spills so how to keep my fitness up and weight off?

Any good tips?

Thanks!

TJO
